Hello Friends!
Welcome back to the blog! I had every intention of blogging more this past week(end) but life just gets in the way sometimes. Last week was a pretty emotional week as I said goodbye to a dear friend from work. She passed away March 5th and her funeral was last Friday. It is very sad to see someone so young loose their life. I challenge you to live life to the fullest – as if each day was your last. And as cliche as it sounds, stop once in a while and look around you to see the beauty that is there and don’t forget to tell your loved once how much they mean to you…before it’s too late. R.I.P. Jamie – I miss your smiling face!

Because it was such a hard week & I had the weekend off work, my husband surprised me with a mini-getaway for the weekend to one of our favorite cities in Michigan. Traverse City. We were there Saturday & Sunday. It was just what I needed. We wandered in and out of the little downtown shops & just relaxed. Here is a photo I took while we were there:

I have found some fun stuff to feature for this week’s Tuesday’s Treasures!
~~~I am sure you have all been browsing the internet & find something you just LOVE – whether it be some inspiration, a craft idea, a picture of a living room you want…. So you right click and save the image and there it sits on your computer. I know I have done this- I even have a special folder for “random things I find online”. Well I have been hearing people talk about this nifty little site for a month or so now so I finally caved in & signed up. The site is called Pinterest. Pinterest is a place to catalog all the things you love! You “pin” different pictures into your board & the site saves it for future use. Look me up on there! I promise you will be addicted within minutes….just like I was!

~~~The second feature this week is for those of you who are newly engaged! Not everyone has a mother who is as awesome as mine that is organized, has wonderful wedding ideas & can pretty much create any thing imaginable. Are you a bride that is all about the little details, but you don’t have the time to put them all together? This is where wedding/event planners come in.
